Up North Lit is moving to a twice-a-year release schedule (June & December). These issues will highlight even more work from high school writers and writers in all stages of their career.

On March 1, 2020, we will reopen for submissions, which from here on out will have no submission fee. This means that we may meet our monthly submission capacity sometimes. If this happens, we will reopen submissions on the first of the following month.

Right now, we are catching up on submissions, but hope to have most of our responses out by mid-March. We are so delighted by all the submissions, but because of the volume of submissions we have received, our responses have been slower than usual.
