Sunday mourning

Sunday morning chapel
Sunday morning light pouring through the
Sunday morning blessed virgin Mary
Sunday morning man giving his
Sunday morning sermon and rubbing his
Sunday morning eyes because of
Sunday morning news of a
Sunday morning shooting in
Sunday morning Texas killing a
Sunday morning mother shielding her
Sunday morning daughters and a
Sunday morning baby in his grandpa’s
Sunday morning arms and a
Sunday morning teen who prepared the
Sunday morning breakfast and a
Sunday morning woman eight months pregnant

Sunday mourning man wonders when
Sunday mourning prayers will stop
Sunday morning shootings and when
Sunday morning killers will not have
Sunday morning guns so
Sunday mourning families will not be torn apart and
Sunday mornings will only be
Sunday mornings

"Sunday Mourning" was noted as a finalist for our 2017 Stephen Bonga Award for High School Students.
