After a Certain Point it Wouldn’t Matter Anymore
Such long roots for such a little
face is what the dentist’s assistant
said when I was fifteen and she meant
my molar tight like a terrified animal
hiding inside itself. There is big air
anywhere, it’s important to watch for it,
any opening can widen
where an entire army
could arrive.
