Mackenzie McGee was born and raised in Minnesota by Texan parents. She is an alumna of the University of Arkansas MFA in Creative Writing and the Kenyon Review Summer Writers Workshop. Her work has appeared in Porter House Review, Nat. Brut, Alaska Quarterly Review, Chestnut Review, and elsewhere. She lives in the Ozarks with her husband, poet Landon McGee.
