The Light at the End is You
I always find my eyes, and therefore my camera, drawing me towards the beauty and intricacies of natural light. This piece developed out of my concentration on the interaction between light, color, and transparency. I used transparent plastic sheets tinted red, yellow, and blue to create the effects in the image. The viewer has the feeling they are in some sort of tunnel of light seeing the subject from a distance. I wanted to play around with the common idea of the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes the light, whatever or whoever is at the end, can reach the darkness inside the tunnel. Sometimes the journey through the tunnel can be beautiful all on its own.
